Welcome to the website of the Birmingham (AL) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. I am deeply honored and humbled to serve as the 38th
Polemarch of the "Prototype" Chapter.

This is such a noble opportunity and responsibility that I do not take lightly. It is with great humility and excitement that I step into this role as we acknowledge our rich history, our lasting legacy, and the solid foundation upon which we stand.

As Polemarch, my aim is to better position this chapter to be sustainable for many years to come. I am committed to upholding the principles and values of Kappa Alpha Psi by promoting brotherhood, supporting academic excellence, highlighting achievement, and not only being present but making a meaningful difference in the communities where we live and serve. However, our success in these endeavors hinges upon our ability to foster a supportive and more inclusive environment where every brother feels valued and empowered.

In short, we must be deliberate and intentional. The theme for this administration is "Leadership Matters." Leadership will matter in all that we do, and all things will be a matter of leadership. This administration will be aggressive in our thoughts and ideals while remaining progressive in our deeds.

I will work tirelessly to ensure that this chapter continues to thrive and make a positive impact on the lives of those around us. Together, we will continue to:

1. Strengthen our Guide Right Program by mentoring young men in our communities and preparing them for future success.

2. Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to community-based initiatives through the T. L. Hale Foundation, underscoring our dedication to charitable, educational, and economic development opportunities.

In the coming year, we hope to use our resources to expand our reach and build new relationships with community and corporate partners, recognizing that we all have a vested interest in the success of those impacted by the work we do.

I am truly grateful for the trust placed in me, and I am ready to lead the Birmingham (AL) Alumni Chapter into an exciting new chapter of growth and achievement.
